WHY CHOOSE WI-Q LITE?

wi-Q is the world’s leading mobile ordering solution, used by brands all over the world. wi-Q Lite uses exactly the same technology, developed for independent outlets on a cost-effective self-manage basis with a low monthly payment and no contract tie-in.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

A.

wi-Q is a cloud-based solution, similar to a website in that you have your own secure platform and URL (web address), using the wi-Q interface which you can personalise with your own branding, menus, offers and customer options from an easy-to-manage dashboard.

With no need for the customer to download an App, wi-Q can be accessed in seconds via a link or QR code from any mobile device (laptop, smartphone, tablet). Customers browse the menu, customise their order and pay you direct via Stripe when they are ready to check out. They then receive an order confirmation, which can include a collection, wait or delivery time and the order comes up on your management dashboard.

DO YOU PROVIDE A DELIVERY SERVICE?

No, wi-Q Lite is purely a mobile ordering and payment solution. Your customers can collect from you at a designated time, or you can arrange delivery by a staff member or taxi service.

Q.

DO YOU CHARGE A COMMISSION ON ORDERS?

A.

No. We developed wi-Q Lite to help the hospitality industry during the coronavirus crisis and pledged that we would allow venues to retain 100% or the order value. Most platforms such as Deliveroo and Just Eat charge around 25%. Your first month is completely free, then £50 a month (reduced from £99) for the next sixth months. There is no commitment or contract, we are confident that wi-Q Lite will deliver a great return on investment and you will want to keep using it.

DO MY CUSTOMERS HAVE TO DOWNLOAD AN APP?

A.

No. wi-Q Lite is NOT an app. There is no need for your customers to download or update an App. They will always have instant access to a live ordering platform through your unique link.

Q.

WHAT ARE MY CUSTOMERS’ PAYMENT OPTIONS?

A.

We have a partnership with Stripe to facilitate all payments direct to your account. You can have the option to add cash on collection/delivery but in the current climate, contactless payment is the healthiest option.

HOW DO I ADD / DELETE / EDIT MENU ITEMS AND DAILY SPECIALS?

A.

Your administration interface allows designated administrators to add, edit or delete menu details and prices at the touch of a button, or we can integrate with your existing till system (EPOS) at an additional charge. We have a series of ‘how to’ videos to help you, but the portal is designed for ease of use.

CAN YOU INTEGRATE WITH MY EPOS, APP OR WEBSITE?

A.

Yes, our parent solution, wi-Q can do all of these, and we can also arrange a printer option, but a development or installation charge may occur. Please “Get in touch” for more details.

IS WI-Q LITE AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE?

We are based in the UK, but Wi-Q is a global solution with live sites in the USA, Europe and UAE.

HOW CAN WI-Q LITE SUPPORT THE NEW FOOD ALLERGY LAWS?

A.

From December 2014, food businesses must provide allergy information to customers who need to avoid certain ingredients because of a food allergy or intolerance. The wi-Q Lite menu can be configured in such a way that your customers are provided with all the necessary allergy information and nutritional facts and can filter by allergy or dietary requirements.

DO I HAVE ACCESS TO MY CUSTOMER DATA?

Yes. wi-Q captures your customer data and you can use this at any time to create personalised marketing campaigns. wi-Q is fully compliant and will never share your, or your customers’ data with third party companies.

Q.

HOW CAN I PROMOTE MY MOBILE ORDERING?

A.

Within your management dashboard you will find templated communications for social media, web and email marketing that you can adapt and use to promote mobile ordering for your business.
